Devonstone Fashion - Summer Aboard - Cotton Drill - Aperol Spritz Lippy
Summer Abroad by Lindsey Rae of Sew to Grow
I started my sewing journey back in Texas as a kid sewing up little cushions and bags that turned into my side hustle at age 16. Through the years I've also worked at a large sewing shop in NC and as a State Manager for a sewing machine company.
I now live on the Sunny Coast of Australia with my Aussie hubby and lil pup Cranky Frankie. When I'm not sewing you can find me painting, crafting, op-shopping, making cocktails, or going camping in our recently renovated caravan
100% COTTON 240GSM 137CM WIDE
Drill has a twill weave which makes it a very strong, dense medium to heavy weight fabric that is robust fabric and easy to maintain. The twill weave means it has characteristic diagonal lines on the fabric which adds an interesting texture. It’s a popular choice for both tailored and casual garments like jackets and pants, as well as bags, children’s wear and home furnishings. To sew cotton drill use a 90/14 needle and cotton or all-purpose thread. When cutting pay close attention to the grainline. Prewash cotton drill to avoid shrinkage. Wash in cool or cold water with a mild detergent and dry naturally or with low heat.
All Fabric is sold per 25cm Width of Fabric. For example
1 unit = 25cm WOF
2 units = 50cm WOF
3 units = 75cm WOF
4 units = 1m WOF
Purchases of more than 1 unit will be cut continous were possible.
